Butchery Masterclass

Our meat is renowned for its quality, but it is also important that it is prepared properly. James Lally and his team of Master Butchers, who have over 50 years of experience between them, will teach you how to get more from the meat you buy from us. The masterclass consists of:

Introduction to the importance of Animal Welfare 
Review of the meat and its origins
How to correctly care and sharpen your knives
How to cut up a Chicken
How to remove sinew and silver skin from larger cuts
How to bone and roll a loin of Pork
French trimming and preparing a rack of Lamb
A homemade Chili Con Carne, a selection of cheeses from our delicatessen and wine, beer or soft drink

All the meat that you prepare is yours to take away, as well as the Masterclass apron and boning knife provided.  Our Masterclass is a great learning experience in a fun, entertaining and relaxed environment.  But if you can't make it, it is a fantastic present for someone you know!
