Fillet steak, Garlic mash and green vegetables serves 4
Cooking time: 40 mins Ingredients:
4x 400g or 600g James of Shepperton fillet steak
2kg potatoes, peeled
2 gloves of garlic
2 medium sized broccolis
2 generous handfuls of fine green beans
A knob of butter
Half a cup of milk
Salt Pepper
Olive oil
Method:
Prepare your fillet steaks; place them in a bowl or on a plate with oil, salt and pepper making sure that they are all well oiled and seasoned. Boil the potatoes and garlic in a large pan until ready to mash, add the butter and warm milk to taste, cover with a lid .Your vegetables can be steamed or boiled to preference.. Add your steaks to a very hot frying pan, no need to add oil as this is on your steaks already. Put a timer on for 3 mins and leave your steaks on a medium heat, turn after 3 mins and cook for a further 3 on the other side, leave to rest whilst you plate your potatoes and vegetables. Slice into 2cm thick slices and serve on top of you garlic mash, or fanned out on your plate.
